The I58SK is a stainless steel incremental rotary encoder designed for food processing, beverage production, pharmaceutical equipment, and washdown applications. Its corrosion-resistant housing and hygienic design deliver reliable speed and position feedback in demanding environments. As a result, it is ideal for machines that require frequent cleaning and high environmental protection.
The encoder provides incremental feedback with resolutions of up to 10,000 PPR. It supports HTL, TTL (Line Driver), and 1 Vpp Sin/Cos outputs, making it easy to integrate with PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers. In addition, it is available with cable or M23 connector connections to suit different installation requirements.
The I58SK features a Ø58 mm stainless steel housing with IP67 washdown protection. It supports shaft speeds of up to 6,000 RPM and is available with 6, 8, 9.52, 10, and 12 mm shaft diameters. Furthermore, it withstands 250g shock, 10g vibration, and temperatures from –25°C to +85°C. An optional version extends the operating range to –40°C to +100°C.
