High-Resolution Absolute Multiturn Feedback
The EHO58 and EHM58 are absolute multiturn encoders designed for high-performance motion control applications that require precise position feedback and long-term reliability. The series combines a rugged Ø58 mm housing with advanced sensing technology, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Optical and Magnetic Sensing Options
The EHO58 uses optical sensing, while the EHM58 uses magnetic sensing for increased robustness. Both versions provide accurate absolute position measurement and use Energy Harvesting Technology for multiturn counting. As a result, the encoder tracks multiple revolutions without batteries or mechanical gears, reducing maintenance and improving system reliability.
High Resolution and Flexible Integration
The encoders provide single-turn resolution up to 24 bits and multiturn resolution up to 16 bits. In addition, they support BiSS-C and SSI interfaces for fast and reliable communication with servo drives, PLCs, and motion controllers. The series is available with solid shaft and hollow shaft versions, along with M12, M23, and cable connection options for flexible installation.

The EHO58/EHM58 delivers reliable performance with IP67 protection and supports speeds up to 6,000 RPM. Furthermore, its rugged construction helps withstand demanding industrial conditions.
