High-Resolution Absolute Multiturn Encoder
The EHCT59 is a high-performance absolute multiturn encoder designed for applications that require precise position feedback, high reliability, and compact integration. It combines advanced optical sensing technology with Energy Harvesting Technology to deliver accurate multiturn measurement without batteries or mechanical gears. As a result, it provides long-term reliability and reduced maintenance requirements.
Advanced Optical Feedback and Communication
The encoder provides single-turn resolution up to 25 bits (33,554,432 cpr) and supports BiSS-C and SSI interfaces for fast and reliable communication with servo drives, PLCs, and motion controllers. In addition, the EHCT59 includes an optional 1024 PPR incremental track, giving engineers additional feedback flexibility for motion applications.
Through-Hollow Shaft Design
The through-hollow shaft design simplifies installation by allowing direct mounting onto motor shafts and machine components. Furthermore, the encoder supports 14 mm and 15 mm hollow shaft diameters with reducing sleeves available for smaller shaft sizes. This flexible design helps reduce mechanical complexity and saves valuable installation space.
Built for Industrial Environments
The EHCT59 features a rugged IP65-rated housing and operates in temperatures from –25°C to +85°C. It withstands 250 g shock and 10 g vibration, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. Therefore, it is an excellent choice for robotics, servo motors, machine tools, automation systems, and precision positioning equipment.
