Compact Absolute Multiturn Feedback
The EHO36, EHM36, and EHO37C are miniature absolute multiturn encoders designed for high-precision motion control applications where space, accuracy, and reliability are critical. With a compact Ø36 mm housing, these encoders deliver advanced position feedback in a small footprint. As a result, they are ideal for robotics, servo motors, automation systems, and demanding OEM applications.
Optical and Magnetic Sensing Options
The series includes both optical and magnetic sensing technologies. The EHO36 and EHO37C use optical sensing for high-resolution feedback, while the EHM36 uses magnetic sensing for increased robustness in challenging environments. In addition, all models use Energy Harvesting Technology, which provides multiturn counting without batteries or mechanical gears. This improves reliability and reduces maintenance requirements.
High Resolution and Fast Communication
The encoders provide single-turn resolution up to 24 bits and multiturn resolution up to 32 bits. Furthermore, they support SSI and BiSS-C communication interfaces, allowing fast and reliable integration with servo drives and motion controllers. With a compact 6 mm shaft design, cable output, or M12 connector options, installation is simple and flexible.
Built for Industrial Environments
The rugged design provides IP67 protection and supports speeds up to 6,000 RPM. Therefore, the EHO36, EHM36, and EHO37C perform reliably in demanding environments where compact size and precise absolute feedback are essential. Typical applications include robotic joints, medical equipment, semiconductor machines, automation systems, and precision positioning platforms.
