The C83 is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for motor feedback, industrial automation, elevators, and motion control systems. Its low-profile housing and through-hollow shaft design save installation space while providing accurate and reliable speed and position feedback. As a result, it is ideal for direct mounting on motor shafts.

High Performance and Flexible Integration

The C83 delivers resolutions of up to 8,192 PPR for precise motion control. In addition, it supports Push-Pull, Line Driver, and Universal output circuits, allowing easy integration with PLCs, servo drives, and industrial controllers. Users can also choose cable or M23 connector versions to match their installation requirements.

Designed for Demanding Applications

The encoder features a through-hollow shaft with diameters up to 45 mm, making it suitable for direct installation on larger motor shafts. Furthermore, it supports shaft speeds of up to 6,000 RPM and provides IP64 protection, with an optional IP65 version for increased resistance to dust and moisture. Its rugged die-cast housing also withstands demanding industrial environments.
