C82 Incremental Encoder | Hollow Shaft Encoder

The C82 is a heavy-duty incremental encoder designed for elevator motors, motor feedback, and industrial automation. Its Ø80 mm housing and through-hollow shaft design provide reliable speed and position feedback for large motor shafts. As a result, it is well suited for demanding applications that require durability and long-term performance.

Accurate Feedback and Flexible Installation

The C82 delivers resolutions of up to 8,192 PPR using precise optical sensing. In addition, it supports Push-Pull, Line Driver, and Universal output circuits, allowing easy integration with PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers. The encoder is available with cable output or an M23 connector, giving engineers greater installation flexibility.

Built for Harsh Industrial Environments

The encoder features a through-hollow shaft with diameters from 30 mm to 44 mm, making it ideal for large motor shafts. Furthermore, it supports speeds of up to 3,000 RPM and offers IP54 protection, with an optional IP65 version for increased resistance to dust and moisture. It also withstands 250 g shock, 10 g vibration, and operates from –25°C to +85°C, with an optional extended range of –40°C to +100°C.
