Low-Profile Incremental Encoder
The C80 is a low-profile incremental rotary encoder designed for large motors, hoists, elevators, and industrial automation systems. Its Ø80 mm housing and through-hollow shaft design provide reliable speed and position feedback while minimizing installation space. As a result, it is an excellent solution for motor feedback applications with large shaft diameters.
Accurate Feedback and Easy Integration
The C80 delivers resolutions of up to 4,096 PPR using precise optical sensing. In addition, it supports Push-Pull, Line Driver, and Universal output circuits, allowing easy integration with PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers. Users can choose cable output or an M23 connector, providing flexibility for different machine designs.
Rugged Design for Industrial Environments
The encoder features a through-hollow shaft with diameters up to 30 mm and supports shaft speeds of up to 6,000 RPM. Furthermore, its robust die-cast housing provides IP64 protection, with an optional IP65 version for greater resistance to dust and moisture. The C80 also withstands 250 g shock, 10 g vibration, and temperatures from –25°C to +85°C, with an optional extended range of –40°C to +100°C.
