STD-27 optical encoder

The STD-27 is a contactless optical reflective absolute encoder built for high-precision motion control in compact, demanding applications. It combines dual sensing heads with Duplus core redundant technology to deliver high accuracy, reliable performance, and excellent signal stability.

The encoder supports both SSI and BiSS-C interfaces, providing 18- to 22-bit absolute feedback with ±2 mdeg accuracy. Its 27 mm low-profile housing and wide assembly tolerances simplify installation, while its plug-and-play design speeds up system integration.

The STD-27 also performs reliably in harsh environments. It features IP50 protection, strong vibration and shock resistance, and an operating temperature range from –40°C to +100°C. Low current consumption, 20 µs latency, and speeds of up to 5,000 RPM make it an excellent choice for industrial automation, robotics, medical equipment, and precision positioning systems.
