AK58 photoelectric absolute rotary encoders

The AK58 Series is a family of Ø58 mm photoelectric absolute rotary encoders designed for high-precision position feedback in demanding industrial applications. Available in six models—AK58M, AK58B, AK58C, AK58C2, AK58C3, and AK58D—the series offers flexible configuration options to meet a wide range of motion control requirements.

Supporting both single-turn and multiturn absolute position measurement, the AK58 Series delivers up to 20-bit single-turn resolution and 24-bit multiturn resolution, ensuring precise, repeatable positioning across the full range of motion. The encoders communicate through SSI and BiSS serial interfaces, enabling fast, reliable data transmission and seamless integration with modern PLCs, servo drives, and industrial control systems.

To accommodate different controller requirements, the AK58 Series outputs position data in either binary or Gray code. Its rugged Ø58 mm housing, high-resolution optical sensing technology, and dependable performance make the series well suited for industrial automation, robotics, packaging machinery, machine tools, material handling equipment, and precision manufacturing systems where accurate absolute position feedback is essential.
