The Omni™ Series Frameless Motor is a high-torque direct-drive motor designed for robotics, automation, medical devices, and precision motion control. Its frameless construction gives OEMs complete design flexibility while reducing size and weight. As a result, it helps engineers build compact, high-performance systems with exceptional dynamic response.
The motor delivers high torque density in a low-profile form factor. It also features a large through-hole, making it easy to route cables, optics, air lines, and other system components through the motor. In addition, the low rotor inertia and high mechanical stiffness improve acceleration, reduce settling time, and increase overall system performance.
The Omni Series produces low cogging torque for smooth, accurate motion and precise positioning. It works with a wide range of servo drives and motion controllers, making system integration simple. Engineers can also choose from inner-rotor and outer-rotor configurations, multiple diameters, stack heights, and Hall sensor options. Custom windings and motor configurations are available to meet specific application requirements.
Available in sizes from 25 mm to 165 mm, the Omni Series supports a wide range of torque and speed requirements.
