Mercury™ Series – M1500H Miniature Linear Encoder for industrial automation.

Mercury™ M1500H | Miniature Linear Encoder

The Mercury™ M1500H Kit is a miniature incremental linear encoder designed to deliver exceptional positioning performance in compact, space-constrained systems. Its ultra-small sensor head and generous alignment tolerances enable fast integration while maintaining the precision required for demanding industrial and scientific applications.

Ideal for semiconductor equipment, medical devices, robotics, metrology, and precision automation, the M1500H provides reliable digital position feedback with minimal installation complexity. The encoder’s compact footprint makes it well suited for linear stages, precision instruments, and high-density machine designs where larger encoders cannot be accommodated.

Unlike analog encoder versions, the Mercury M1500H features an integrated digital quadrature A/B output with index, performing interpolation within the sensor itself. This provides resolutions from 5 µm down to 0.5 µm without requiring external interpolation electronics, simplifying system design while maintaining high positioning accuracy.

Low power consumption minimizes thermal effects, helping preserve measurement stability during continuous operation and improving long-term reliability in precision motion systems.
