The I65 and IT65 are heavy-duty incremental rotary encoders designed for industrial automation, machine tools, packaging equipment, and material handling systems. Their robust die-cast aluminum housing withstands high shaft loads and demanding operating conditions. As a result, they deliver reliable speed and position feedback in harsh industrial environments.
The encoders provide incremental feedback with resolutions of up to 10,000 PPR. They support NPN, PNP, Push-Pull, Line Driver, Universal, and Sin/Cos output circuits, allowing easy integration with PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers. In addition, the I65 is available with a clamp flange, while the IT65 features a square (US) flange to suit different mounting requirements.
The I65/IT65 supports shaft speeds of up to 6,000 RPM and is available with 6, 8, 9.52, 10, and 12 mm shaft diameters. Users can choose MIL 7-pin, MIL 10-pin, or cable output connections for flexible installation. Furthermore, the encoder withstands 250 g shock, 10 g vibration, and temperatures from –25°C to +85°C. An optional version extends the operating range to –40°C to +100°C.
The rugged housing provides IP65 protection, with an optional IP66 shaft seal for additional environmental resistance. Therefore, the I65 and IT65 are an excellent choice for servo motors, conveyors, packaging machines, machine tools, printing equipment, and other demanding motion control applications.
