The IncOder™ CORE is a lightweight, bearingless inductive absolute angle encoder designed for robotics, medical devices, industrial automation, UAVs, and OEM motion control systems. Unlike traditional housed encoders, the IncOder CORE features an unpackaged stator and rotor design, allowing engineers to reduce weight, maximize integration, and optimize space within compact systems.
Using non-contact inductive sensing technology, the encoder delivers absolute position feedback with up to 20-bit resolution while remaining highly resistant to dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, and external magnetic fields. Because it requires no precision alignment or calibration, installation is faster and more cost-effective for OEMs.
Available in 44 mm and 70 mm stator sizes, the IncOder CORE features a large through bore, low-profile stacked PCB construction, and generous mounting tolerances. In addition, it supports SSI, BiSS-C, SPI, and asynchronous serial communication with RS422 outputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of PLCs, servo drives, and embedded motion controllers.
