Using off-axis Hall sensing and a two-track magnetic wheel, the ASA 42 Y01 applies the Nonius principle to achieve accurate absolute position measurement. In addition, its differential sensing technology effectively suppresses homogeneous magnetic interference, ensuring stable output signals even in environments with strong static magnetic fields.
The encoder provides 18-bit absolute resolution via SSI or BiSS® interfaces while simultaneously delivering ABI incremental signals with resolutions up to 65,536 pulses per revolution (PPR). It also generates UVW commutation signals for up to 16 pole pairs, making it an excellent choice for BLDC motors, servo systems, and precision motion control.
