The WEM20 IU is a high-resolution and high-precision encoder PCB for an axial magnetic sensing encoder. A complete encoder requires a hub with a magnet (diametrical) and a PCB holder. Both are not included in the standard. The WEM20 IU simultaneously supplies the incremental output signals as well as the commutation signals via the 11 pads. This makes the encoder suitable for motor commutation and, with its speed signals, also for speed control and robotics. The WEM20 IU is based on axial magnetic technology.
