Mercury II™ encoders – Ultra-High Resolution, Compact, and Easy to Install

Mercury II™ encoders deliver exceptional resolution up to 1.2 nm and high-accuracy performance in a compact sensor body. With industry-leading low cyclical error and low jitter, Mercury II enables smoother velocity control and faster, more precise linear positioning for linear motors, stages, and wire bonders.

The smallest tape scale system available, at just 6 mm wide, includes index and limits, making it less than half the width of other systems. Mercury II also features the broadest alignment tolerances in the industry (±2°), allowing sensors to be aligned and installed in under 30 seconds. Optional built-in or stick-on optical index and limit markers simplify setup even further.
