The MDB20 magnetic rotary encoder module is a compact 20 mm PCB-based encoder designed for high-precision angular measurement in space-constrained applications. It features an integrated Hall-effect sensor that scans a permanent dipole magnet and generates constant amplitude Sine and Cosine voltages for accurate angle detection.

These signals are interpolated to provide absolute and incremental outputs with resolutions up to 14 bits per rotation (16,384 positions), making it ideal for applications that demand precision in a small footprint. The MDB20 is easy to integrate into any design thanks to its simple installation and versatile interface options.
