MDB28
The MDB28 magnetic rotary encoder module is a 28 mm PCB-based encoder that combines precision sensing with flexible output options. It uses an integrated Hall-effect sensor to scan a permanent dipole magnet and generate Sine and Cosine signals for accurate angle calculation. These signals are interpolated to deliver absolute and incremental outputs with resolutions up to 14 bits per rotation (16,384 positions).
Designed for high-speed and harsh industrial environments, the MDB28 operates at up to 20,000 rpm, offering a wide voltage range (5V DC or 6.5–30V DC) for compatibility with various systems.
